Terms of Use

Welcome to the QR Plus Terms of Use.

Last updated: June 2026.

It is a pleasure to have you at QR Plus. These Terms of Use explain the rules for accessing and using the websites, tools, pages, generators, decoders, scanners, dashboard, APIs, integrations and other services related to the creation, customization, management, redirection and analysis of QR Codes offered by QR Plus.

By accessing or using our services, you state that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you are using the services on behalf of a company, organization or third party, you state that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that person or entity.

The Brazilian Portuguese version is the official version of these Terms. Translations into other languages are provided to make them easier to understand and, in case of divergence, the Portuguese version will prevail, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

1. Definitions

QR Plus means the platform, the websites qrplus.com.br, qrpl.us, pro.qrplus.com.br and other domains, applications and APIs related to the service.

User means any person who accesses the website, creates QR Codes, uses free tools, creates an account, subscribes to a plan, uses APIs or integrations, or manages QR Codes on their own behalf or on behalf of third parties.

Static QR Code means the code that directly contains the content provided at the time of creation. As a rule, after it is generated and distributed, its destination cannot be changed by QR Plus.

Dynamic QR Code means the code that points to a redirect, short link or intermediate page managed by QR Plus, allowing destination editing, statistics, customization and other features according to the subscribed plan.

User content includes URLs, texts, images, logos, files, contact details, Pix keys, Wi-Fi information, event data, menus, links, descriptions, messages, landing pages, integrations and any other data provided, sent or configured by the User.

API and integrations are technical features that allow the User to connect external systems to QR Plus through keys, tokens, endpoints, limits, permissions and dedicated documentation.

2. Acceptance, eligibility and account

The services are intended for persons with legal capacity to contract. Minors may use the services only with authorization and supervision from a legal guardian.

The User must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account, subscribing to a plan, generating API keys, configuring allowed domains, requesting support or using features that depend on identification.

The User is responsible for keeping credentials, passwords, tokens, session cookies, API keys and other access mechanisms confidential. Any use performed from the User's account or keys will be presumed to have been performed by the User, unless proven otherwise.

3. Services offered

QR Plus may offer, free of charge or for a fee, features such as QR Code generation, scanning and decoding, visual customization, dynamic QR Codes, link shortening and redirection, administration dashboard, scan statistics, pages associated with QR Codes, file upload and storage, transactional emails, API integrations, support and other related features.

Some features may depend on registration, an active plan, usage limits, security validations, availability of third-party providers, correct technical configuration or compatibility with browsers, devices, QR Code readers and external networks.

QR Plus may change, improve, replace, limit, suspend or discontinue features, provided that it preserves acquired rights under applicable law and communicates relevant changes when necessary.

4. Static QR Codes, dynamic QR Codes and feature expiration

The User is responsible for checking all data before printing, disclosing, publishing or distributing a QR Code. This includes destination, content, image, contrast, size, margin, file format, print quality and suitability for the material on which the code will be applied.

Static QR Codes may continue to work regardless of an active account when the content is recorded directly in the code and depends only on compatible scanning applications or devices. QR Plus does not control external content, destination websites, applications, digital wallets, social networks, app stores, third-party services or the availability of links provided by the User.

Dynamic QR Codes, redirects, metrics, destination editing, hosted pages, files, analytics and professional features depend on QR Plus infrastructure, the account and the applicable plan. Suspension, cancellation, expiration, non-payment, chargeback or violation of these Terms may affect these features.

When a free trial, plan, credit or subscription expires, is cancelled or becomes overdue, dynamic QR Codes may be disabled or redirected to a notice page, security page, expiration page, reactivation page or another technical page from QR Plus. Related data, QR Codes, statistics and files may be kept for a reasonable period for reactivation, audit, security, legal obligations or exercise of rights, and then deleted, anonymized or aggregated according to the Privacy Policy.

5. Intermediate pages, destination and scanner applications

Depending on the QR Code type, plan, security configuration or operational condition, QR Plus may display intermediate pages before the final redirect, including destination preview, security notice, removed-content notice, plan expiration, access confirmation, a page hosted by the User or institutional information related to the service.

QR Plus does not insert third-party advertisements into User content without a contractual basis or applicable configuration. Advertisements or screens displayed by QR Code scanner applications, browsers, operating systems, antivirus tools, digital wallets, social networks or external platforms are not controlled by QR Plus.

6. Scans, metrics and technical accuracy

Scan statistics, when available, are technical estimates based on events recorded by the platform. They may be affected by cache, blockers, VPNs, corporate networks, in-app readers, automatic previews, bots, network instability and technical limitations of devices or browsers.

Data such as city, country, device, browser and operating system may be approximate, incomplete or unavailable. Not all QR Code types collect statistics. QR Plus does not guarantee a minimum number of scans, conversions, sales, visits, downloads or business results.

7. User content, permitted use and sensitive data

The User retains ownership of their content, but grants QR Plus authorization to store, process, technically reproduce, resize, convert, display, transmit, redirect and make that content available to the extent necessary to operate the contracted or requested services.

The User states that they have rights, authorizations and legal bases to insert, publish, host or share any content on QR Plus, including third-party personal data, trademarks, logos, images, files, texts, lists, contacts, addresses, Pix keys, business information and destination links.

It is prohibited to use QR Plus to host, generate, redirect, promote or facilitate illegal, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, violent or invasive content, content that violates third-party rights, contains malware, phishing, spam, improper credential collection, financial scams, identity spoofing, intellectual property violations or any activity that compromises the security, reputation or operation of the platform.

The services were not designed for critical, emergency, medical, hospital, regulated financial, physical access control, government identification, large-scale sensitive data collection or other high-risk activities without a specific contract, technical assessment and additional security measures. The User must avoid inserting passwords, confidential documents, health data, children's data, credentials, trade secrets or highly sensitive information into public QR Codes.

8. Reports, abuse and protection measures

Anyone may report suspected abuse, phishing, fraud, malware, rights infringement, trademark misuse, illegal content or security risk through the channels available on the website or by email at abuso@qrplus.com.br.

QR Plus may review reports and, when there is plausible risk, remove, block, suspend, limit, redirect to a warning page, deny support, cancel an account, revoke API keys, preserve records or notify competent authorities, according to the severity, applicable law and the need to protect users, third parties and the platform.

9. APIs, keys and integrations

QR Plus public APIs and integrations must be used only according to the documentation, limits, scopes and permissions provided. The User is responsible for protecting keys and tokens and must not expose secrets in public JavaScript, unprotected distributed applications, repositories, screenshots, logs or environments accessible by third parties.

API keys may have permissions, authorized domains, usage limits, rate limits, expiration, revocation and auditing. QR Plus may block calls that indicate abuse, excess, harmful automation, enumeration attempts, scraping, attack, fraud, out-of-scope use or a threat to platform stability.

Server-to-server integrations do not depend on CORS. When calls are made from third-party browsers, the User must use only authorized mechanisms, with allowed domains, minimum scopes and keys suitable for that type of exposure.

10. Plans, limits, payments and renewal

Free features may have technical, functional, volume, storage, customization, file size, QR Code quantity, API call, support or analytics limits. These limits may be adjusted to protect operations and enable service continuity.

Paid plans may include additional features, according to the description in effect at the time of subscription. Prices, benefits, limits and conditions may vary by plan, campaign, currency, region, payment method or subscription channel.

When there is a recurring subscription, billing may renew automatically according to the billing period, payment method and conditions informed at subscription. The User is responsible for cancelling renewal before the next charge when they do not wish to keep the plan, subject to consumer rights and applicable law.

Payment failures, chargebacks, suspected fraud, non-payment, cancellation, plan expiration or breach of these Terms may result in downgrade, suspension, limitation of dynamic features, editing lock, unavailability of analytics, API revocation or interruption of paid services.

Cancellation, refund, withdrawal or dispute requests will be handled according to the subscribed plan, the payment channel used and applicable law. Amounts paid to third-party providers, taxes, fees, periods already used or services effectively provided may have their own rules.

11. Third-party services

QR Plus may use providers for hosting, database, cloud storage, email delivery, queues, cache, social authentication, reCAPTCHA, maps, payments, monitoring, analytics, QR Code generation, CDN, domain registration and other services necessary to operate the platform.

The use of third-party features may be subject to the availability, policies, limits, terms and failures of those providers. QR Plus does not control websites, applications, platforms, stores, social networks, digital wallets, payment systems, map services, players, external files or destination pages indicated by the User.

12. Availability, maintenance and support

QR Plus seeks to keep its services available, secure and stable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with all devices, readers, browsers, networks, printers, operating systems or third-party applications.

Unavailability may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical failure, attack, acts of God, force majeure, provider failure, network instability, DNS issues, abuse, security incident or operational need. Whenever reasonable, QR Plus will seek to reduce impacts and restore the service.

Support may vary according to plan, channel, hours, severity, technical complexity and team availability. QR Plus is not required to perform customizations, specific integrations or content recovery that is not covered by the plan or applicable policy.

13. Intellectual property, feedback and confidentiality

QR Plus owns or licenses rights over its brand, software, code, interface, design, database, documentation, texts, components, flows, APIs, templates, technology, know-how and other platform elements.

Use of the services does not transfer any QR Plus intellectual property right to the User. It is prohibited to copy, modify, attempt to extract source code, reverse engineer, exploit vulnerabilities, remove marks, reproduce interfaces or create a competing service from unauthorized access to the platform.

The User retains rights over the content they send or configure, subject to the technical authorization necessary to provide the services. Suggestions, ideas or feedback sent to QR Plus may be used to improve the platform without compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Non-public information received because of restricted features must be treated as confidential.

14. Privacy and data protection

The processing of personal data related to the services is described in the QR Plus Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. By using the services, the User acknowledges that platform operation may involve registration, authentication, security, communication, abuse prevention, QR Code generation, redirects, analytics, support, payments and integrations.

When the User inserts third-party personal data into QR Codes, files, pages, lists, integrations, forms or messages, the User is responsible for having a legal basis, authorization or other valid justification for that processing and for complying with controller obligations when applicable.

When an enterprise customer or integration requires specific personal data processing rules, the parties may enter into a contract, addendum or data processing agreement, including instructions, security measures, subprocessors and responsibilities.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QR Plus will not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data caused by improper use, third-party failures, external links, User content, misconfigured campaigns, defective prints, QR Codes unreadable due to application error, unauthorized account use, improper key exposure or business results not achieved.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived by law, including consumer rights where applicable.

16. Indemnity

The User agrees to indemnify and hold QR Plus harmless from claims, losses, damages, costs, fines, expenses and fees arising from submitted content, misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, unlawful use of QR Codes, key exposure, insecure integrations or breach of applicable laws under the User's responsibility.

17. Suspension, termination and deletion

The User may stop using the services or request account closure through the available channels. Deletion may not be immediate for data that must be kept for legal obligation, security, audit, fraud prevention, regular exercise of rights, contractual performance or temporary backups.

QR Plus may suspend or terminate accounts, QR Codes, keys, redirects or features when there is a violation of these Terms, legal order, security risk, non-payment, abuse, fraud, attempt to bypass limits or need to protect users, third parties or the platform.

18. Changes to these Terms

QR Plus may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, operational, commercial or security changes. The current version will be published on this page. Relevant changes may be communicated by notice on the website, email, dashboard or another reasonable channel.

Continued use of the services after the publication of changes indicates agreement with the new version, except where the law requires specific consent or another procedure.

19. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any conflicts will be submitted to the competent forum according to applicable law, including consumer protection rules where relevant.

For questions about these Terms, support, privacy, security, abuse reports or use of the platform, contact us through the channel available on the website or by email at abuso@qrplus.com.br.
